Basic ᏣᎳᎩ (Tsalagi) greetings practiced in pairs
Speaker 1
ᎣᏏᏲ! (o-si-yo!) = Hello!
ᏙᎯᏧ? (do-hi-tsu?) = How are you? (or literally, is it fine or good?)
Speaker 2
ᏙᎯᏊ (do-hi-quu) = I'm fine. (or literally, it is fine or good)
ᏂᎯᎾ? (ni-hi-na) = And you?

Homework:
1. Practice meeting activity
2. Familiarize self with Cherokee syllabary, the history and how to pronounce each symbol
3. Bring any Cherokee language learning materials to class
